The Light in the Darkness

note: I got this book for free from waterbrook multnomah.

Sneak Peek: When Sparrows Fall by Meg Moseley

When Miranda is down in the valleys of despair, half brother-in-law steps into help with a surprising turn of events. Jack, an ordinary professor that teaches fiction to college students ends up in Slades Creek caring for six children. What turns out to be an ordinary baby-sitting job, results in protecting his sister-in-law from a pastor who is a wolf in sheep's clothing.

The book's theme really goes with the modern-day churches. Almost everyone in America goes to some kind of religious organization. It's kind of scary what kinds of people profess themselves as Christians these days. They say they believe in God, but their actions show something completely different, and people just follow along with the Pastor. The scariest thing is that the congregation is being brainwashed and they don't even know it. So the lesson to be learned is not to trust the Pastor and deacons, but to also read the Bible and ask God to give you a discerning heart.
