Positive Discipline for the 1st Three Years

There are many books on parenting these days. If you read every book that was ever published, you would find that many of them repeat the same things over and over again. There are also numerous books on discipline: spanking vs. no spanking.
How do we as future parents discipline our children? I read this book with an open mind because I believe the author has some great points. I just don't believe in everything she says. I'm not saying it's wrong advice, but every child is different. Just like there are more than one way to learn. There is also more than one way to parent.

If you are a parent, you should always listen with one open ear and one closed ear. Don't believe everything one person says, but pick and choose the methods that work for your individual child. INDIVIDUAL CHILD! Because everyone knows that even if you have siblings, their likes, dislikes and even personality traits are different.

You cannot group parenting advice together for all your children. So I just caution you not to believe everything every book says about parenting.
